For a little while now, I'm really into nude colored everything. I might not wear one, cause I don't think it fits my skin color that well, but I think when captured in a picture nude colors can be sexy without being to revealing. I might even say that it kinda looks innocent....

Lately the weather has been very cloudy, if not raining cats and dog...I have been longing for the day where the sun shines straight to my face and blinded my eyes....Rainy season is officially here and I just loathe the fact that it ruins my hair, my shoes and wet my jeans every time I went outside. I wish I was somewhere tropical so I can enjoy myself bathing in the sun and going out wearing my shorts and havaiannas (not because I'm afraid that the rain will ruin my shoes and outfits, but because it's appropriate).

For those of you who are enjoying a fun in the sun....You don't know how lucky you are....

I would like to start my week with something that inspires me the most. Words has been my love ever since I was a little girl. Even my aunt would tell me that as a kid, my favorite place in the world is a bookstore. I guess that's the reason why I spend 4 of my adults years working in a bookstore. I have always been fascinated by words, where it comes from, when do people start saying it, and who invented it...I may not read books that much anymore, but inspiring words has always been stuck in my mind for most of my life. I find it soothing and comforting to hear someone say something so nice or so brutal or sarcastic. I know, sarcastic may not be soothing for most of you, but sarcasm is like my favorite drug. It may make some people angry, but it makes me laugh.....

But enough of the sarcastic things...From now on, I would like to start Inspirational Mondays. The first day of the week seems to be the perfect time to share some of that inspirational wisdoms people say through out their lives.

So let's be inspired together :)

I found that a lot of pictures taken in 2009 is a good. Including this one. This is a spread from Tim Walker for Vogue UK Oct 09. I love the whole concept and I love the styling and all that. I just love it. I am starting to think that maybe 2009 is a good year for fashion (not that 2010 is a good year or what not, but I think 2009 rocked!).

I'm sorry for the lack of post...I have been slacking my days off. The weather is just so nice and I have been spending my days doing nothing but sit around in front of my computer looking for things good enough to post. But out of misfortune, I haven't found anything good enough. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I know some people's dreading to have this kind of days off, not doing anything and all. But I have been staying home for too long. My brain is itching for something good coming my way.

But I guess no good thing will come if you just sit around and do nothing :(

Abbey Lee and Catherine McNeil photographed by Greg Kadel, styled by Naomi Smith for Vogue Australia 50th anniversary issue in September 2009

I am still in love everything going on in this spread. The photographer's eye, the location, the clothes, the styling and the two model. I cannot pin point anything wrong with this. LOVE IT.

I made a big big mistake for impulsively chopping my hair off a few years back. My hair haven't seen its glorious head banging days in quite sometime. I missed it so much....

*for the record, that wasn't me in the picture*
