MOVIE NIGHT

Movies has always been my thing. I am the kind of person that can sit and watch like 2 to 3 movies in one night and still wanting for more (if I haven't fall asleep or have to rush somewhere). Just like everything else in my life, the kind of movie that I like is always random. And just like music, I try to watch every kind of movie, according to my mood. I don't mind watching chick flick or sometimes action movies, just for the sake of watching it. Heck, I'd watch a documentary if I feel like it....And I also know that most people watch movies, don't deny it. And I think it's time to share my favorite movies, so far....

1. Stranger Than Fiction

This movie is like my favorite. I love everything about this movie. I love the character, the story, the moral of the story, and the graphics in the movie (I don't know what you call the numbers and counters of how many times he brushes his teeth and everything else, seriously). I love the fact that he brought her flours instead of flowers (that is like my favorite part, ever. And I don't think that any movie ever trumps that, ever). That is so romantic, is it not??

2. Nightmare before Christmas

Isn't it romantic?? As morbid as it sounds, this two creatures are full of love. Unlike chuky, they are cute. Are they not? And Tim Burton made the movie, which makes it even more attractive and dark and I LOVE IT.

3. Dancer In The Dark

Don't tell me you didn't feel any amount of sadness when you watch this movie. Other than the fact that Bjork played her part extremely good and the fact that she's almost blind and she was given a death sentence for something that wasn't her fault. And the fact that she sings seconds before she was hanged, this one actually gives me chills. And the fact that it's Bjork who played it makes this movie irresistible to watch. So please don't tell me that you haven't watch this movie...

4. Across The Universe

It's a musical. With Beatles' Song. How can you don't love it? (other than that, I had no other things to say)

5. The Fall

All I know that this movie has the best scenery ever. It was shot all around the world and one of the places they shoot it is in Bali. Their color combination is like the best, the sky is always blue with white fluffy clouds that looks like a cotton candy, the scenery is amazing, the costume is insane, the story is just so sweet and sad and funny and I don't know what else to say than....YOU MUST SEE THIS MOVIE!!

*There must be more movies that I love and would like to share...But right now, I kinda forgot hahaha*

Oh How Very Unfortunate Of Me

I love books. I love movies. I love movies that was based from a book, even though it is not always as good as the book. There's this book by Lemony Snicket, which I love very very much. I love how it is very dark and gloomy and the fact that it is a children book, which I am not sure of, makes it even more attractive. Somehow some brilliant director decided that it was going to be a beautiful movie, which was true. IT IS a lovely movie. With lovely cast. And lovely dresses.
This movie is somehow forgotten until recently when I stumbled upon the review of the movie in one of the blog I visited, and I hate the fact that I don't even remember whether I've seen this movie or not. A Series Of Unfortunate Events is one of my favorite book that I obsessively waited on and actually read from beginning to end (yes, all 13 of them). I remembered watching it, but I didn't remember how the story begins or ends. I'm starting to think that probably I haven't watch it, but I've read it so I imagined what the movie would be like. Huh?? I'm confused.
So, about this movie....I love how the character dress up. And I love how it was very dark colored (I mean, it is a gloomy movie). I love how it is NOT a romantic-happy-ending kind of story. I love how they search for character that wasn't too far away from MY imagination (even better, I might add), so it is easier for me to relate the movie to the book. I love a lot of things about this movie, of which I don't remember watching. Ha!

I can see why watching this movie can be such a heavy dose for my brain, for it is full of imagination and unrealistic things. But I am so sure, that if I remember watching this movie, I would kill myself for not remembering it!!

*What's happening to me?? I am very confused!!*

Oh Please, Just Rock That Boat.

You probably know by now that I enjoy fashion and photography very much. But what you didn't know that most of my past time is spent watching movies. Shitty movies, action movies, comedies, romantic comedies, I mean seriously anything. The last 2 movies I watched was Inglorious Basterds and The Boat That Rocked. I have to say, those 2 movies are the best movie I watched in the last couple of weeks. Sucks huh??
Anyways, I was so fascinated by The Boat That Rocked. I LOVE IT would be the perfect word to describe how much I like the movie. The fashion, and the soundtrack of the movie would be how I see my life if only I was born in the 50's and live my days in the 60's. I see myself wearing those kind of clothing, listening to those kinds of music and that particular radio station, and not to mention I would be one of the girl who drools over the men living on that boat. Needless to say, I would be part of the movement.

For those of you who haven't watched the movie, probably this teaser would be enough to tease you. But mostly, you can see how much fun this movie can be to be apart of. I can imagine people working on this film is such fun to be with or to spend time with. The music it self is one reason for people to go see this movie. The fashion is another story. You just can't set that aside. I can't see why you're not interested to even watch it, just for fun...
But the one reason that is enough to make me set my eyes on the screen throughout the whole movie is this man. Tom Sturridge.

He's just the perfect man for ANYONE who awaits in a boat somewhere in the North Sea. He's somewhat cute, I love his entire outfit throughout the whole movie, and the list that goes waaaayy too long. Oh, I'm in loooovvveee...Now wouldn't you want to be apart of it??
